  • What amount of Traffic a site should have before doing guest posts?

Guest posts are valuable for backlinks, and traffic plays no role in this scenario except for the fact that getting traffic shows that the site is in good standing with google.

If you want traffic, niche edits / link insertions / editorial links / whatever you want to call them are much more suited for this goal. And if paying based on traffic is how you want to approach sites the price varies based on niche, converting rates of that traffic, placement of your link / creative, type of content where the traffic comes from (informational, commercial, etc)

You should probably check network like buysellads.com, advertise.com, infolinks, revcontent, etc to see what the publishers in these networks charge, and based on what, and this will give you a rough idea of what you're expected to pay minimum, or on average. But even so, these are just guidelines because you can probably negotiate with the seller, but if you're approaching a seller of niche edits and say that you want to pay based on traffic they might tell you to go away.
