Fix Sniper Elite 5 GPU Device was lost game cannot continue
First of all Check Integrity of Files from Steam
Step 1) Restart Your PC
Step 2) Select DirectX12 when launching the game
Step 3) Xbox Game Pass Users: Create a desktop shortcut and launch the game as an administrator, Steam users run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder, also disable Fullscreen optimization
Step 4) Uncheck Play With Easy Anti-Cheat
Step 5) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 9) Allow the game exe file to antivirus program/Windows Security
Step 10) Close all the overlay apps
Step 11) Verify the game files
Step 12) Close all the overclocking application, perform Cleanboot
Step 13) Install Visual C++ Files

Step 15) Reinstall the game to the different drive
Uninstall, delete the game folder, Reinstall the game to the different drive
